A fuel cell vehicle doesn’t have an engine and doesn't burn fuel. It is an electric vehicle that makes its own electricity. Hydrogen, the fuel, moves through the fuel cell where an electro-chemical reaction takes place. The resulting electricity powers an electric motor that moves the car.

Fuel cell vehicles have zero tailpipe emissions, making them better for the environment. The fuel they use, hydrogen, can be made in many different ways and we’ll never run out of it. Fuel cell vehicles come in all sizes, from compact cars to pickup trucks and even city buses. They are clean, quiet cars that are very fun to drive.
